The February 2010 Daring Bakers’ challenge was hosted by Aparna of My Diverse Kitchen and Deeba of Passionate About Baking. They chose Tiramisu as the challenge for the month. Their challenge recipe is based on recipes from The Washington Post, Cordon Bleu at Home and Baking Obsession.
But, in a few days there will be elections in all of the Dutch cities, for the city counsils. My husband and I have been very busy these weeks, as he is the chairman of our local political party, and I am a candidate. The campaign takes all our time.
Somehow I managed to make the tiramisu! It wasn't beautiful, but it was delicious. My husband said he couldn't remember to ever have tasted something that delicious! So creamy, soft and full of taste. Thanks, Aparna and Deeba, for this experience!
Here are some more pictures, first of the beautiful, fluffy dough for the ladyfingers that are inside, and then of the ladyfingers.
If you want to read the recipe, please visit the Daring Bakers' site. I will use the rest of this Day of the Lord to be with my family.

Your ladyfingers look perfect! I think in a glass is a great way to serve this, as it can get messy otherwise. Best of luck in the election!
